"On Secular Authority" Part 2

I agree with Luther (or Calvin, whoever is writing this) that you cannot and should not force anyone into your belief. " No one has power over the soul except God,"(pg. 28). They must come to believe it on their own terms. Therefore, if I was a Christian ruler I would not outlaw any religion, but I would encourage Christianity and I would base all my decisions on the Bible. I think that by forcing everyone into your own religion you will be causing more problems than not. I agree with practically everything he says.
